I'm a teacher and I live in Ghent. I teach children age 14 till 19 years old. It's my dream job. Because of my job I have a lot of vacation. This makes it possible for me to travel a lot.

I play basketball and love to run. Actually I like all kinds of sports. When I'm on a trip I try to do as many sport activities as possible. Canoeing, kajak, hiking, snowboard, canyoning, rafting, ... etc.

I also like partying with my friends. Having a drink in a local pub, going to a festival, dancing with friends, ... it's something that I like doing in the weekends. My friends are very important to me. They're my #1!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

During the school year I work a lot and have a very busy life. When it's vacation I get allergic to making plans, fixed hours and people who tell me what to do. So backpacking is my favorite kind of travel because I find it very relaxing. Just me, some friends and my backpack. All we need is a bed and a hot shower. Nothing more.

I like meeting new people who really know the city they live in. I don't like big tourist things, I want to see how the locals live. So couchsurfing is the perfect way to do this. Everyday is a surprise!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Every trip was a big experience but last summer I visite Tanzania and Zanzibar and I've done some volunteering in a local school. This was the best experience ever!! Some day I want to go back, maybe live there.
