Hello!

I'm a freelance illustrator living in the North West of England. I love adventures, exploring and meeting new people! I'm fairly quiet, but friendly and open-minded.

I create picture books, graphic novels and all sorts of other illustration for a living - so most often you'll find me with a sketchbook in my bag or documenting my travels through drawing.

I love watching films, playing boardgames, live bands, yoga, hiking, cooking and playing video games!

Most often travelling with my boyfriend Andrew Jolly (www.couchsurfing.com/people/andrew-jolly) - an animator who also writes books and records music. We're a friendly, creative pair who love couchsurfing!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very varied music taste, but right now I've been listening to a lot of Oh Wonder, Shura, Haim, Rae Morris, Radical Face, S. Carey and Chromeo!

Film-wise, most recently I've enjoyed Star Wars - The Force Awakens, It Follows, The Guest, John Wick, a few documentaries about interesting people and I also love animation (in particular Ghibli films). I really enjoy TV show boxsets: a lot of Joss Whedon (Buffy, Firefly, Dollhouse etc), X-files, Brooklyn 99, Twin Peaks etc.

I read a lot of Murakami, Ray Bradbury, Diana Wynne Jones and Phillip K Dick. I love magical realism, sci-fi, dystopian YA novels and I read a lot of graphic novels (Saga, Scott Pilgrim, Death Note, Avatar The Last Airbender etc).

I also love unusual boardgames (and, well, classic ones too)! I'd be happy to bring a few over if you fancy.
