Overview
About Me
I am an aspiring musician, songwriter, and producer. I am a lover of good mexican food, talking to strangers, New Haven style pizza, music, and adventure. I'm pretty friendly and it usually takes a deliberate effort to offend me. If you have connections for me in the music industry, I will love you forever.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While originally I got introduced to it by one of my best friends when I attended the "couch crash" they had on Long Island sound (was like the greatest thing, btw), I AM however, planning to move somewhere to pursue music and figured it would be a good idea to, until I can get a job, stay somewhere where there's a serious music scene with help from Couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have spent 2 years of my life teaching strangers in an area I'd never been to about Jesus in a language I didn't understand (at the time).
I have canoed 60 miles in 5 days on the Alligash River in Maine
I've hiked 60 miles on the Longsock trail in Pennsylvania
I was the first responder to an exploding house one time in California
I was in a band for 3 years in which we met twice a week and wrote original music.
I went to prom with the daughter of the current VP of the sciences for Yale University, who is also a longtime family friend.
Teach, Learn, Share
Don't know what this space is for, but I'm going to assume it's like for acquired protips
Protip--you can use a juicy onion to get the muck off of your grill after you heat it up. Plus, it adds flavor.
Always do research on what you want if you're going to buy gear. The people at music stores generally get paid off of commission, so they're going to push something more expensive than you want if you don't know exactly.
Atmospheric noise inadvertently added to your recording can contribute positively to the end product, especially if it adds prosody to the piece (like crickets, or something) and is subtle.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share music, my talents. If I bring food, I can share that. I don't smoke or drink, so I mean, I guess I don't share that. But I'd be willing to help around the house. I am exceptionally gifted at picking things up and putting them down.
