About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I came to this world with nothing, and I'll leave with nothing but love.

ABOUT ME

When I was young the only thing I was hoping for my future was to travel. To see the world. To go on adventures and live an exciting life. I wanted it to be one to really remember, filled with memories and impressions and freedom and happiness. I wanted to explore every corner of it and understand how the world affects us and what effect we have on it. I wanted to learn about all different people, cultures and environments and experience the impact we have on each other. I am in my 30s and this is what I have spent my life doing and intend to continue doing until I no longer exist. I still want to move from country to country, not to plan my future, go wherever I feel in the moment, and see all the beauty we have created and together represent.

Being an architect I am very curios to see how we build and design the world we live in, and how different cultures form it. There is so much we can learn from each other and I want to soak it all in! Both the cities and homes we create, but also the natural beauty this world has to offer. So many times my breath has been taken away just by the look of a place, and I want to continue finding these places. I recently made a long trip to Australia and Japan and the gratefulness I felt every day for living in this world and time where I have the possibility to see everything was mind blowing. I received so much new life energy and am so happy being alive!

PHILOSOPHY

Not to worry - everything will work out.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started couchsurfing back in 2011 when heading towards a backpacking trip to Asia. It definitely is the best way to get to know a city and locals, and has given me incredible memories and friendships.

Interests

It's funny how some things in life just make your heart smile and glitter, kind of feeling those feelings you have being in love. My heart feels the biggest when I listen to good electronic music and dance to it on music festivals, and I think that's a big factor for why I love going to the gym - because I listen to the same music! Taking the longboard to places also makes me feel really good, like being close to water. Being an architect I can't hide that looking at good architecture is like porn for me. It is exciting what we can create, but I'm just as amazed by the beauty of nature and how no person on earth could have created a world this astonishing. Being surrounded by it and the soothing sounds of it is luxury. Animals make my heart melt. Dogs and goats are the best!
