Hi! I'm Molly, I live in Honolulu, on Oahu. I'm a graduate student in the biosci field. I love being outdoors, dancing, climbing, snorkeling, swimming, surfing, motorcycle riding, learning new things (especially languages).

I believe that staying in one place your whole life leads to a very narrow view of the world, so it's important for people to travel whenever possible. Only when we visit other countries and see the vast differences in our cultures, customs, and religions can we really learn about who we are as people. With knowledge comes understanding, tolerance, and peace. These are the insights we can gain from learning about others!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love to travel! But, it's pretty expensive. If you include the flight and the hotel/hostel, on top of having to go out to eat because there's no place to cook in your hotel, it can sometimes be downright unaffordable. By using Couchsurfing, I'm hoping that the money I save by being hosted, and the money I help others save by hosting can be used towards more travel airfare.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have this thing where I like to try and conquer my fears. I had a pretty severe fear of crashing on a motorcycle and my husband struggled to get me to enjoy riding on the back of his bike. During his deployment, I studied for, took, and passed a motorcycle permit test. Two weeks later I took a motorcycle safety course and my motorcycle license. Now I'm starting to operate the bike myself with less fear each time!
