ABOUT ME

I think I am friendly. Usually it is easy for me to talk about everything with everybody. I am a curious and honest person. I should also mention that sometimes I could be too honest. But finally, I just want to have good memories with everybody:)

What is more, I finished Creative and Therapeutic Music course, which is a great passion of mine. It is really interesting and I could talk forever about how music can help for people in various ways.

Apart from music, another passion is travelling, of course. I hope to somehow combine these two things: therapeutic music and travelling.

PHILOSOPHY

One good experience can overshadow a lot of bad.
I really like this philosophy that I heard somewhere: If I give you 1 euro and you give me 1 euro, the profit would be 0 euro. If I tell you a story and you tell me a story, there would be 1 new story to learn about. The "economy" of sharing experience and stories are much more productive than money.

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

When travelling I love meeting local people and have a different experience than staying in hostels/hotels. Travelling is more than just seeing architecture and landscape. Travelling is an experience and I didn't find a better way than meeting people and see their life from their perspective. I learn a lot from other people.

When hosting, what could be better when all the world comes to your house, when you can't travel? People are collective, so sharing with others makes us happy :)

As you could see above, I am really interested in music. I play with Lithuanian traditional instrument, also I can play a bit on piano and guitar. I like to listen other people's stories and also tell my stories. So when travelling, I think these two interests really fit to each other. I always find out more about music and hear many stories.

I listen any kind of music. But I can notice my favorite style of music would be folk, ethno and rock music, also classical and some of electronic music. I can't specify my favourite musicians, it really depends on my mood.

Singing songs for my little nephew before sleeping. He is the best listener. Even if one day he kindly asked if I could stop singing for him, because he is too tired and bored to listen to me :D Well, nothing stays forever.

Another thing - hitchhiking from UK to Armenia (I just needed to fly from Ukraine to Georgia cause I didnt have Russian visa to cross Russia). It is sort of my record that was a great adventure where I met so many wonderful people.

I can teach how to play with Lithuanian traditional instrument. I can share my knowledge about history of Klaipėda or folk music and other subjects. I would like to learn Norwegian, Russian and Italian languages. So if you could teach, it would be great! But the most important, I want to learn from others. I am always open for everything I didn't know.
