Overview
About Me
I'm a photojournalist based in Toronto but I travel quite a bit as my work is primarily in international relations. I'm on the road and hoping to meet some new friends along the way.
I'm a big fan of traveling and exploring, so I try and go to new places and experience new things as much as possible. My ideal day would either involve a lot of outdoor activities or cultural city-ish stuff.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of the best parts of seeing a new city is meeting locals and making new friends. Couchsurfing seems like a great way to do just that.
Interests
Other than general exploring and traveling, I really enjoy live music, camping, biking, soccer, sailing and photography.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books/ Reading. Mostly non-fiction at this point. The last book I really loved was The Underground Girls of Kabul: In Search of a Hidden Resistance in Afghanistan. I'm always looking for a good book recommendation. I also really like long-form journalism. Rukmini Kalimichi might be my hero.
TV. I really like anything done by Mike Shur. But also, I love TV in general. I think it's an underrated art form. A few of my current favorites are:
- Parks and Rec
- Brooklyn Nine-Nine
- Jane the Virgin
- Master of None
- Dear White People
Movies. Lost in Translation, Frances Ha, Her, Moon, Dr. Strangelove, Lord of the Rings, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom, Amelie
Music: I like a really really wide variety of music. I'm a big folk fan, with Bob Dylan and Tallest Man on Earth being some of my favourites. I also like hip-hop, chill wave etc.
