I was born and raised in a small town in Texas and always dreamed of traveling the world. I am a pretty easy-going person who loves to laugh and gets along with pretty much everyone I know. Most consider me a great listener and give good advice when asked for it. Many of the people in my life think I am crazy to travel overseas but when you only have one life to live and you want to make the most of it, that is really the only option. Shaking things up every once in a while is good for the soul.

I am currently pursuing my degree in psychology and hope to one day get my license to have my own practice and specialize in children and youth. I currently work as an administrator in a childcare center for ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. I also am the mother of 2 children ages 10 and 6.

While I like seeing the tourist attractions that most travelers see, I am more interested in the lives of the every day people. I want to see the parts of the world that not many get to see other than those living in them. I believe we can learn something from each person we cross paths with and its only a matter of taking the time to find out what those things are. I love to talk and to listen. I pride myself in helping people feel at ease. I am always willing to listen and partake in a good meaningful interaction with people who come my way

I love films, music, and good conversation. I am a chameleon of sorts. I can mold myself to fit almost any group:)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share good conversation and pleasant company. Although I'm no culinary expert, I can cook some pretty good traditional Mexican food.
