50 years young, loving to explore and meet people, getting inspired by good talks en taking a bigger perspective on life. Always into fun and the tasty things of life. Not sportive, but very creative. I like to make music (drums, flute), to draw or to write (poems, others). I'm handy and I like gardening. I have a wide range of friends with very different life-styles. I'm into een reading-group and like reading about sociology, psychology, antropology, politics,... have serieus discussions, but also I'm in some street-music groups (murga), going all over Europe to play on festivals (or carnavals). I can show you the trendy and beautiful places (natural and cultural) around this place. I'm a solo-mother, my children are Emil (1994), Myrte (1996) and Flore (2000). I have a few cats… and am a animal-lover.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

In the near future I'm hoping to travel around Europe in a camper. Hoping to find some places to put my camper on private property and make use of the bathroom-facilities. But also interested in places outside Europe. As my children come and go, my (double) house became big, with spare rooms and spare beds. It' better when they are used and I like to meet people that way. Februari 2019 my daughter Myrte goes to Chili to study a master in production forestry, I'm going with her for three weeks. Maybe we will be in need of some places to stay in Temuco, the rest of the year the house will be even more empty, so I can have guests.

I'm not teaching anything, except from stuff at work, as I'm in a leading position (laws and rules in urbanism and environment). Behalve of that, sometimes I'm going into prisons to talk to imprisoned persons, out of my experience as a victim, to help them to get insights and rehabilitation. I'm also sometimes participating in repair-café's. I'm also in a 'local exchange trading system' (LETs).

I can share the space… I have two living-rooms, two bathroom, seven sleeping rooms of wich 2 are in permanent use (my son with his girlfriend in a big room, me in a small one), two rooms in use in the weekends and holidays (my daugthers-students), three other rooms have a bed but are merely not used. I have a very beautiful old garden with trees, small fruit... the garden is open to the wood. A 40 hectare wood for walking. I'm fulltime working and have some evening-activities, so I'm not all the time available for cooking and so on, but the kitchen can be used off course. The house has a beautiful quiet neighbourhood, only 5 km from Leuven: a beautiful city with 60000 students, at 400 m from a bus-station to the city. Close are a few pubs, a supermarket...
