About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"Think you're escaping and run into yourself. Longest way round is the shortest way home."
ABOUT ME
Having grown up around the world, I was inflicted with the travel bug at a very early age. Restless at times, I love nothing more than going new places, seeing new things and meeting new people. I'm currently living in Oakland, California. I recently quit my job, after a Permaculture Design Certification and a Yoga Teacher Training, to pursue the more important things in life - joy, courage, and love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Though I've been on Couchsurfing for several years, I have been sadly inactive for most of these 5 years. I love the idea of Couchsurfing - a worldwide network of interesting people willing to open up their homes to strangers in exchange for interesting stories and experiences.
This coming January I will embark on a 7 month solo trip around the world. As a female traveling by myself it will be wonderful to meet new people who are willing to help me better navigate new cities and cultures. I'm on here to meet you!

Teach, Learn, Share
I've been knitting since I was 4 years old - I hope it's an art that never gets lost! I recently learned to weave as well - and would be more than happy to teach others! I am a certified Yoga instructor and have a Permaculture Design certificate. I would be honored to teach you some new yoga poses or help you think out a garden space!
I would love to learn the banjo or the fiddle!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Lively conversation, great book recommendations, new yoga poses, garden design thoughts, my mom's amazing macaroni and cheese!
