About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn, grow, look to the future!
ABOUT ME
I'm currently working in the office at an English language school downtown. I've lived in Toronto the past four years, but grew up in Windsor, Ontario and Romeo, Michigan. I spend spare time dining out, eating in, attending shows with friends, and watching good tv and movies.
My top five things I like to spend money on: different food stuffs (I get bored of food quickly), the best coffee in town, the best beer at the LC, books I won't read for a while, and records.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe life is about growth, experience, and learning. I think as long as you're a better person (whatever "better" means to you) than you were in the past, you're doing it right!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Had a great first time couch surfing in Seattle! My host made my trip! Hoping to repay the favour to another surfer!
Interests
Friends, personal stories, labour issues, current events, history of all sorts, good coffee, architecture, good tv, loud laughter, different beer, green space, grammar, things I don't know, brunch, doing different things around town!

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently reading:
"The Noonday Demon: an Atlas of Depression" by Andrew Solomon
"Monkey Beach" by Eden Robinson
Currently watching:
Olive Kitteridge
An Honorable Woman
Downton Abbey
Music:
Folk, Americana, Bluegrass, Indie, variations of these. I try and catch a live show at least once a month.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The look on the face of someone truly excited to see you, there's nothing else like it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach about random historical anecdotes and share about life with a serious dairy allergy (something people always seem to be curious about)!
I want to learn a lot of hands-on skills. How to fix up the wooden vanity I found, how to re-wire the brakes on my bike, how to fix my kitchen sink, and much more!
