About Me

I am transgender non-binary, gender fluid, and my pronouns are they/them/their. Em (my name) is also a great pronoun! I am 24 and currently attending a partial hospitalization program for complex trauma survivors in Washington, DC. While I am going through a difficult time right now, I am making a ton of progress and my friends can tell you that I'm friendly, caring, clean, and respectful. When I'm home I'm usually drawing/making art, hula hooping/dancing, or writing/blogging. Very 420 friendly.

I am looking for places to stay around D.C. while I get the treatment that I need! I'm applying for SSDI as a source of income, I barely have any stuff and won't take up too much space, and I have my own sleeping mat to stay on.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, meet new people, and share stories.

Interests

I have been an activist against the failed war on drugs for 5 years, and also fight for the rights of trans and nonbinary individuals, as well as attending other protests and things when I can. I love creating any type of art, and am particularly interested in dancing, hooping, painting, drawing, writing, and modeling. I am vegetarian and an atheist and I absolutely love nature.

I'm also very nerdy when it comes to math, probability, and logistics. I'm very good at planning, organizing, and time management.
