ABOUT ME

I am an English language teacher who works in Cappadocia region. I live in an apartment in Nevşehir city centre. My house is next to the bus stop for the busses of districts such as Göreme, Ürgüp and Kaymaklı - Derinkuyu underground cities. I will be very pleased if I can host some couchsurfers whenever I am free.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Balloon flights take place in the early morning at sunrise. If you are planning to fly with a balloon, the company you agree with can pick you up in front of my house. However, if you just want to go to watch them, you can only find a taxi here at that time. If you do not want to go by taxi, it would be better for you to find accommodation in places where balloon flights take place.

NOTE FOR CS'ERS IN GERMANY: If you are in Germany and want to visit Cappadocia and meet me, i will be really happy if you can bring me Scho Ka Kola chocolate from there. I really like that brand of chocolate :) I will definitely pay you for it.

PHILOSOPHY

I like meeting new people and having nice memories with them. Because memories are a way of keeping the past alive. Some are so painful that we never want to visit them again. But a memory can also be a gift; something we can open again and again in order to fill ourselves with happiness. Hope to have so many memories like that by the help of Couchsurfing :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted some guests so far and i want to do it more often. I can host two people at the same time in my flat and i can spare a room for them. Hopefully i can use Couchsurfing as a traveller one day.

I am interested in history, culture, geography and traditions of different people from all over the world. I also like sightseeing, hiking, reading, watching TV series and playing video games.
