I am a graduate student at Middle East Technical University (METU). Before that I graduated from Boğaziçi University. I like to meet new people sharing ideas, experiences and joy. I value so much for the time that spend with intimacy and sincerety. And, consequently, looking for people that have same expectations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At first, I did not think that Couchsurfing would fit for me. I found it hard to trust someone that I have no idea about. But then, by meeting several people who host and were hosted, this idea of not trusting faded away. After I search for people in couchsurfing I found out that there are so many great people who are willing to share their time and experience; and they also value their time as I do. That's what brings me to Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like classical music, especially Bach, very much and I am also clarinetist of a chamber orchestra in my university.

I am a huge fan of Lord of the Rings books and triology. Shawshank Redemption, Into the Wild, Space Odyssey are my favourite movies as well as couple of Turkish films.

Dostoyevski and Gogol, Salinger, Steinbeck are my favorite writers as well as Turkish writers like Sabahattin Ali, Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar and Aziz Nesin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am so young. Being alive might be count as one though! But since high school, I spent my summer mostly in a place called Nesin Mathematics Village. I do volunteer jobs like help to cook or trimming the trees or in the winters cutting firewoods.

But I am planning to parachuting or at least paraglading in several places.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a joyful person and aware of many things in the world. I am an open-minded person eager to learn and experience new things. I have variety of interests form sports to music , literature to science.
