ABOUT ME

I have enjoyed travelling now for many years. Mainly throughout Europe but also Russia and the Middle East. Recently I have just travelled to Malaysia. I can't wait to go back and explore it some more. Hopefully I will be able to do more travelling around Asia in the near future.

I enjoy meeting new people, learning about other cultures and teaching them about mine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Relativity new to CS but so far my experience has been really positive, hopefully future surfing will be just as good!

Interests

Different cultures and travelling (obviously!)
Chess, snooker and most strategic games
Martial Arts (mainly Aikido, Wing Chun and HEMA)
Caving, bouldering and snowboarding (I like my extreme sports and would love to try canyoning!)
Swimming, Snorkeling and Diving (basically being in the water)
Generally the great outdoors!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like films such as the Matrix, Vanilla Sky & Inception
My music taste varies from Electro to 90's Brit Pop.
The only books I tend to read are about philosophy, religion, martial arts or all three.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to pick one, but swimming with sharks in Malaysia is one thing I did recently that I never thought I would do!

I enjoy sharing thoughts on martial arts and/or philosophy. I'm also interested in learning other languages, about different cultures and other martial arts . Anything you think I may be able to teach you, I will be happy to do so.
