Hi everyone! It's Emre from Turkey. I've been living in Istanbul since 2013 but I am originally from Eastern Turkey. I am currently studying International Trade at Bogazici University. I like to discover new cultures. Seeing similarities and differences among them interests me more than anything!
I like to think about the philosophy of martial arts. I've worked out different styles, for now I am learning Wing Chun Kung Fu. I read lots of books especially fantasy ones. Watching good movies and listening to music are essentials in life. I am a social person but at times, I like being alone.
The photo represents who I am as a person. Some people stay on safe on the ground, but I prefer to jump over it.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

While I travel, I meet nice people from different countries and most of them want me to join Couchsurfing. Then, I realized that it's one of the best way to meet with locals and understand their life. That's why I'm in Couchsurfing.

兴趣

My interests are complicated. I can say that I am interested in almost every interesting thing like most of the people. But especially meeting with new people and cultures, living abroad or travelling, being social and at the time alone, sharing good stories and silence, enjoying good moments are my favorites.

For music, I like many styles and it's usually up to my psycohology.

I've watched a lot of movies and I usually like movies which are based on true stories. I don't know how I can describe 'Dead Poets Society' but I also like that kind of movies.

About books, I go a bookshop and rise my hands then true book calls me. I find what I need in books.

During this year, I failed all my classes but I've met a lot of people from many different countries and I made really good friends.

I don't like learning or teaching when you especially suppose to learn or teach. All the things which we need are around us. It's up tp us to find them.

Sharing moments which are good or bad with people is important for life experience. Also, sharing time and truths with yourself is significant.

I can share good moments which includes my story, silence, relax conversation, my culture and language. I share good time.
