Moin! I'm Emre, an undergraduate Automotive Engineering student who'd like to design high speed trains later in life. I started Couchsurfing when I was travelling around South East Asia. I've been to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Taiwan and South Korea!

If you like deep conversations, I'm so down for that! Certainly I don't mind a beer alongside but I'm not so keen to party, as I can do that perfectly well in my hometown and prefer to get a good insight into the local culture than being hungover!

I'm at Couchsurfing because I'm looking forward to meeting local people rather than just being a tourist. I'm convinced that the greatest experiences are made outside of the touristy spots! Even just a nice landscape view would be much appreciated. :)

"To Have Or To Be" by Erich Fromm is a great book, I can definitely recommend! When it comes to movies, you can just check out the IMDB Top 250, but a movie I've recently seen and liked was a South Korean movie called "Default", it's about the IMF bailout of South Korea.
