关于我
I grew up in Canada but have been living in London for a few years. I bought a one way ticket and moved here on a whim thinking that I would only stay for a few months, but a few months has turned into a few years.
I work part time as an art facilitator running a studio group for artists with special needs. I also make my own work which is primarily textile based. I am a self taught seamstress and I make costumes and headpieces.
I love cycling and anything bike related. I am currently building up a bike from scratch. I only meant to fix one thing but I have now taken the whole thing apart. Fingers crossed it'll go back together without too many problems.

I am going to be doing some travelling in Spain this summer and I would really like to get off the beaten path and meet some local people. The last few years I have spent all of my holiday time going home to visit friends and family. I'm looking finally having a holiday where I get to meet some new people and see some new places.

I am a creative person I love anything crafty I am constantly looking to develop new skills as an artist. And though my art keeps me inside I love being outside in the wilderness-cycling, hiking and wild swimming when I get the chance.

音乐、电影和书籍
I am fairly open when it comes to music. At home I like a lot of world music, country and folk. But when it comes to live music I'm open to anything and enjoy feeding off the energy of a live gig. I love reading but I just can't seem to find the time to read these days, but I love books of short stories.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
A few years ago I did a road trip through France with one of my friends. The car we were driving broke down and we had to leave it in a garage for two days while we waited for parts. The smart thing would've been to book a hotel room for two days and relax. But we were really close to St. Jean Pied de Port which is one of the starting points for the Camino de Santiago. We packed some small shoulder bags with necessities and hitchhiked back to St. Jean where we picked up a route map from the tourist office. The suggested taking an alternate route since there was a storm coming in- again a sign that we should book a hotel room. We took the alternate route and along the way gathered materials to build a shack for the night. We managed to find a derelict barn (that was too gross and full of bats to sleep in) and we found some extra bits for our shack including some metal for the roof and a pitch fork for security. We settled in for the night, lit a fire and started to cook dinner when the rain started and a huge thunder and lightning storm hit. We barley slept, luckily the roof held up and we only got dripped on a little bit. After a few hours of tossing and turning in our tiny shack we decided that we should just get up and finish walking to the next town. We made it and had a very small breakfast and decided that instead of bussing we should just walk back to St. Jean. So we walked back and did the first day of the camino in reverse against the tide of "pilgrims". It was a terrible night but I still look back on it as one of the most fun things that I've done.

I'm great at cooking and I love learning about new spices and learning new dishes. I would be happy to cook a meal together or just cook a meal for you.
