ABOUT ME

I love to travel. And chocolate. And my family and friends--but not in that order. I grew up in a suburb of Detroit with my 7 brothers and sisters, but am currently in Ann Arbor. I attended the University of Michigan and graduated with a bachelors degree in History. I'm not sure what I'll do with my degree, but I know I love to work with people and make a difference in this big world of ours. I love people, especially those who bring out the best in me. I live my life one day at a time, trying to make the most of it.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life in the pursuit of knowledge, experience, fun, love, and helping others. I believe strongly in karma and feel that most things happen for a reason. This is super cliche, but whatever doesn't kill me makes me stronger.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got into couch surfing while I was studying abroad in England. I absolutely loved my experiences and the people I met. I hope to be involved in this community for a long time to come!

I have couch surfed in many different countries. My wonderful hosts have given me unforgettable memories and invaluable experiences. Their hospitality and generosity is absolutely amazing and heartwarming. My couch surfing adventures have been unlike any experiences I've had at hostels. It is just so much better!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a slew of random, weird skills. I am really crafty and have dabbled in quilting, crocheting, knitting, cross-stitching, sewing, and making diorama's. Anything I haven't learned, I would definitely love to! It would be great to be fluent in Spanish. I've always wanted to learn how to cook well. That is one skill I am lacking in!
