I’m spending some time travelling and busking, reading and writing. Not ‘to find myself’ but to avoid all the baby showers my friends are having. Am I the only one that stayed cool? It feels like that.

I'm just a regular Canadian guy who's been working a variety of jobs (including owning my own business) around Canada over the last 20 years. Since there are no guarantees in life I decided to 'retire' for a year at 40 just in case I don't live to see my late 60's. Plus I know I'm not the ball of energy I was at 25, so better keep travelling now while I'm healthy and relatively durable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m going to travel for the year starting in 2020 and would like to meet interesting people along the way. I'm interested in busking and other ways of earning money/food while travelling.

I'm interested in all sorts of things - basically if there's a museum on a subject I know nothing about, I'm totally down to spend a few hours learning more.
