I really enjoy traveling and outdoor recreation. Much of the time I likely will be traveling with my husband Ben, who is a carpenter. I like the Couchsurfing concept and hope to be a host someday but currently traveling often. We are friendly and accepting folks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We like to live as simply as possible so Couchsurfing seems like how life used to be back in the day, where you met people and they invited you in instead of hotel chains on a super highway!

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is all over the map. Hit shuffle and you might hear Ray Charles, Passion Pit, Blackalicious, etc. Books I guess Tom Robbins, Conn Igulden, lately reading European history so all over the map again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Heck, I'm not sure how to answer this one. I have raised a child which was certainly the hardest thing. I've orchestrated the permanent protection of over 1,000 acres of wilderness. I have paddled some big rivers, traveled through some remote jungle. I don't know, that probably suffices?

What I Can Share with Hosts
