About Me
Hi there, I'm Emy, I'm a recent grad from the University of Galway. I'll be walking the Camino Portugués for the first few weeks of May and will be passing through Madrid at the end of my journey before heading back home to Ireland. I've been to the city before, but would enjoy meeting a nice host and seeing the city through new eyes. I love trying new foods and consider myself a very low-key pal to get along with. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been using Couchsurfing as a host and traveler for almost 10 years (wow) and have never had a negative experience, quite the contrary, it has significantly enhanced my travel experiences and has allowed me to pay the favour forward whenever I am able to host in return.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Camped in the Negev desert under a meteor shower
Sailed on a 60 ft yacht off the Turkish coast
Hiked a few '14ers' (14,000 ft) mountains in my native Colorado
Teach, Learn, Share
Through past experience with couchsurfing I can say for sure there is always an exchange of culture and perspective when both people are willing
As a traveler I can offer an easy-going disposition, stories and experiences from my journey, a homecooked meal (veggie eats mostly)
