About Me

CURRENT MISSION

make the world a smaller place

ABOUT ME

Hi there ! I'm Emy ! I'm told to be easy-going, open-minded, in love with nature, spontaneous, etc but that is all for you to confirm ;)I can say that I love hiking, meeting crazy people but also less crazy people ( no discrimination !), drinking white russians, playing piano and the thrill of being inspired.
Now to be utterly honest with you, I must confess that during my first trip, I got infected by a special insect : the travelling bug ! And as far as I can remember, I have always been asking to myself : what is my next stop ? I hope you are alot of travelling infected people outthere and I am eager to meet you all !

Interests

To me, it is a great quality to be open-minded for it makes the world a better place to live and it can hinder a great number of conflicts. One is not open-minded but becomes open-minded. Indeed, in order to become open-minded one needs experience, needs to confront different points of view, to see all kinds of things, one simply needs to go out there and see for oneself ! And that is what I intend to do in my short life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When travelling, I don't like asking myself too many questions. Whenever I have an idea, I just give it a try and see for myself ! In my opinion, that is the only way not to have any regrets !
One of the most striking moment of my life was when I visited a school surrounded by the majestic hymalayan mountains : it was breathtaking. I can still remember the mighty sunset that made me feel as humble as ever. Unforgettable.
Another unforgettable moment was in Croatia. We hadn't booked any place to stay and there were no more available accomodation to spend the night. An old croatian lady pitied us and although she had no big house, she welcomed us to stay at her place. She did not speak English nor we Croatian but we still could communicate using gestures, common words or our guidebook. I felt very lucky to meet such a warmhearted person.
