I live in sunny Brisbane with my partner, Alvin, and work as a teacher at a local high school teaching health-PE and IT. Alvin is an architect and bike importer, he also speaks German. We love being active, going on adventures such as caravan relocations and living an environmentally conscious life. We have two pet ducks and four chickens!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love the idea of couch surfing and had a fabulous time doing it in Europe and hosting one in Melbourne years ago. I haven't been able to due to share housing but want to start again. I love meeting new people with similar views and giving back to the community in this little way.

All the light we cannot see - favorite book

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Bungee jumped from 134m in Queenstown, NZ. While hundred of people do this every day, it pushed me to my limit as I was petrified standing on the edge. I hadn't planned to do it, but then an opportunity presented itself and I had to do it, I couldn't turn it down. So despite my fears, I managed to launch myself off that ledge and leap to what was an exhilarating experience!
