HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted more people than I have surfed with, looking in to doing more of both but currently involved in moving and getting my life together - but trust me its for the better this way...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had truly amazing and life changing experiences hosting and surfing - I cannot really decide which I like more! I love meeting new people, they are the most interesting, I like people who want to tell you stories - but also enjoy hearing them too! Sometimes someone will get on a roll telling stories and I will just have to interject with my own... I don't know if that annoying... I don't care - I like swaping stories. hours and hours of it.

Honestly, I love learning about things and I have a general curiosity about everything. I AM not interested in petty gossip and entertainment news. I do not care about celebrities and reality shows :)

Musica, film e libri

Love movies: foreign films are my favorite. I like things that make you think or that you can have a discussion about ( no, inception is not one of those movies... unless you want to have a LONGGGGGGG discussion on why you hated inception, I am always up for that!) I also watch a lot of documentaries.
Music: I am pretty indifferent about. I can not have a discussion about music like I can art or politics or books or life in general. I listen to everything, from the bad stuff they play on the radio to country and mostly folk americana music. Two Gallants are my favorite band. I also will be attending Sasquatch music festival for the first time this May.
Books: I love books! I love non-fiction biographies on people I admire, I also love criticism and theory, mostly art but I also like social and political topics, I like mostly female writers when it comes to fiction Mary Shelley, Anais Nin, I loved the fountainhead by Ayn Rand ( moreso for the story then for her political beliefs ) do not read a lot of contemporary authors unless it comes highly recommended - and I am always up for recommendations!

Love to talk about history. Love giving my own oral history. I can teach you how to get around Paris without having to buy Metro tickets ( sometimes - but I can't let too many people know ) I like informing, discussing, debating, and educating people on the waves of the Feminist movement and Feminist Art.
