I am a spontaneous person embracing new environments that are rich with culture and uniqueness. I am currently au pairing in the Netherlands, and I am using this year to gain perspective and allowing circumstances that I am not used to to shape me. I am very interested in people and their stories, and a big dream of mine is to publish a book one day. Who knows, I might write about my experiences on couches all around Europe!

Part of being interested in people, means opening myself to different ways to communicate with others. Travelling to countries to do sightseeing does not interest me as much as becoming part of the culture and experiencing what it is like to live in that environment.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music involves everything except jazz (way too much going on at once) and heavy metal (too morbid). I am especially fond of the Lumineers, Mumford and Sons, James Bay, Vance Joy, Leonard Cohen and Twenty One Pilots.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Last year was quite a tough year for me, but it was amazing in the sense that it shaped me. I tutored at the university, worked at a bookshop during the evenings, and finished my degree. Looking back, I think it was pretty amazing how I persisted.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I am not one for cliches, but I truly believe that kindness and putting yourself in someone else's shoes should be taught, learned and shared. Oh, and self-love has also never hurt anybody!

Well, I think it is important to know that I am very considerate. I am very clean, and hygiene is really important to me. I am always up to meet new people and have fun experiences. I can assure you that I would rather leave your place in a better condition than to leave and have left my mess there (not that there would be a mess to start with). I will respect your privacy, but I am also happy to intervene and experience culture in this way!
