It's hard to describe oneself in a few words. I have travelled three continents and a number of countries. Met all kinds of people and visited lots of interesting and amazing places. I am a good listener and always want to learn more about people, places and other cultures. We live once, let's live it at the best!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would like to find interesting people and see their communities through their eyes and their experience. We hope to connect with human beings from all over the world.

HOSTING: we give preference to those who have positive references and who can host as well. We tend not to accept last minute requests or requests from travelers who created ad hoc profiles just to land on a couch while on vacation. If you don't have references you MUST be verified otherwise we won't even take you into consideration. You must arrive before 7 pm on the first day of your stay. If you land or arrive to LA later than that, you better look for some other place where to stay for the first night, we won't take you. We have some simple house rules that we request for you to accept: no shoes in the house, no smoking and no use of the kitchen. However you are welcome to store your food items in our fridge and use the microwave if you like.

We receive lots of requests for a number of reasons: we offer a private room and bathroom, we live in a nice well situated area of Los Angeles called Redondo Beach, about 10 miles south from Los Angeles Intl Airport. We can provide sheets and towels for our CS guests. However think carefully when you make a request, be articulate and tell us not only about yourself but also why you are on CS and what you can bring to us - not financially - in exchange of accommodation. In the end, this is CS not Airbnb! We usually host during week days because weekends are for ourselves. When you make a request write at the end of your request: May the force be with you. This will indicate that you have read through our profile up to here. If we do not see that line in your request, most likely you will be declined.

COVID-19 Rules: we request all of our hosts to be vaccinated and need to send proof of vaccination before we can accept them. Further, you need to take and submit a Covid-19 viral test not earlier than 2 days before arriving to our home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed on top of a beautiful mountain in the Canadian Rockies and then got completely naked!
Travelled one day and one night from Southern California to Oregon just to watch a Total Solar Eclipse and then drove back.
Spent the night in the desert of the Monument Valley, UT, during a nighttime desert storm.

What I Can Share with Hosts
