ABOUT ME

What about me? There are plenty of thing to say! To sum it up I’m a Breton, before being French and a European. I love my region and I’m never bored. During my free time, I do Breton dance in a group which appear in the first category of the Breton championship. We are 50 and every year, we create a new choreography about a Breton theme and then we present it in front of a panel of judges. It’s really interesting because we learn a lot about the Breton culture and the meet lot of people during our travels and our representations. Otherwise I like going out with my friends, drinking in the pub, going to fest-noz (It’s a traditional feast in Brittany) and so on.
But I also like doing sport, like kayaking, mountain biking and hiking, going to the cinema.

What do I do? I'm a twenty years old French student who studies in ICAM, a French mechanical engineering university in Nantes. I’m actually in my third year and the school gives me the opportunity to go abroad for four months wherever I want. I choose to go to Scotland for two months because I’m keen on Celtic countries and then I’ll go hiking to Norway and Sweden. Finally and if I have time, I’d like to go to Netherlands.

What about my personality? I think I’m an open-minded, talkative and perfectionist person. I have a lot of interest for a lot of things and I love to learn and solve problems. That why I’d like to be an engineer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have never heard of CS before my four month school project and at first, I love its concept. I like to meet people and try to live their culture.I also like to pass what I know about my culture (Breton and french culture) That why I ready to host people from over the World and I’d like be hosted in the different countries I’ll visit. I hope it will be lot of pleasant time with people I’ll meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As being a couchsurfer is new for me, I don’t have any experience. I have four months to experiment this type of travelling. I hope it will be great!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music : I hear lot of Breton and Celtic music. But I’m also keen on hearing Techno, rock, dance and classical music. I’m not really fond of hearing RAP and Reggae.

Film : I like all the kind of movies. The movies I like the most could be Braveheart, Las Vegas 21, All the James Bond and so one

Books : I’m not a great reader, but I like read some philosophic books when I’ve time. Otherwise, I read books on technology, sciences and photography.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

One of my biggest challenges was to dance half naked on stage in front of 2000 persons. I had to do a strong docker who wanted to seduce girls. Finally it was amazing.

Otherwise I disguised as prehistoric man and with friends, we crossed the city. It is really funny and a pleasant moment with people.
