About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a Dutch sociologist of 31 years old, recently transplanted to Belgium where I'm teaching and working on an PhD at the University of Antwerp.
Before the academic life I worked for 5 years at an architecture firm and I really like to think/write about the subject. When I'm walking around my gaze is almost always upwards to the building facades. Seeing a lot of different cities and buildings is often the goal of my travels. Hopefully I can chisel out some kind of a career on the subject.
I'm kind of a mellow person, don't mix well with hardcore party animals but definitely like having a good time. Cooking, and especially eating, and hearing about other people's experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
In the age where there are no grand narratives anymore we each have to make our own small story. Where the story lines cross, that's where it gets interesting.
