About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet new places, new people, new culture... learn by experience.
ABOUT ME
I'm a geek/nerdy/rocker guy that also likes to party. Always smiling, talk a LOT, but also a good listener. I worked many years with design, and now I create board games for a living.
PHILOSOPHY
I trully believe everyone is special and great, but in the most unexpected ways. I always try to see the best side of things even at the worst times and places. There's always a reason to smile.
I'm a free spirit. I hate bureocracy, contracts, desks. And I really hate routine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I joined CS because I'm being invited to showcase my games and talk about Belo Horizonte gaming community all over Brazil, so I'll finally be able to know a lot of new places and new people. It's something I was planning for some time but never had an opportunity.
I can host people here, but I'm not always at home myself. So I have to check my calendar previously.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None!
But I'm really open minded, easy going, so I guess there will be plenty soon.
Interests
Games, movies, comics, nerd stuff in general. My work is creating games, so that's a frequent topic.
Also interested in martial arts, practiced a few techniques (jiujitsu, judo, kenjutsu, taekwondo).
And besides all that, I'm also a night person, interested in parties and music.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a special place in my heart for 80s and 90s action and trash movies. Schwarzenegger and Stallone are my favorites.
Love nerd franchises like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Marvel Studio movies, etc. Also read a lot of comics.
I'm a big fan of Rock, specially hard rock. Guns n Roses, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi are my favorites. But I'm really ecletic. Dancing and partying... electronic, funk, and even pop music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent four months in Shugyo. It's a pilgrimage done by samurai warriors, that I went during my kenjutsu practicing in Niten Institute. Shaved my head, done lots of meditation, garden care, lots and lots of house working and combat training. It's a really intense but renewing experience, that teached me a lot about myself, working through my difficulties.
I have many great life experiences, because I'm very curious, but the shugyo tops them all.
Teach, Learn, Share
My life philosophy is heavily based on my experience as a martial artist. To live each moment, to be decisive, quick-witted, and never quit even if it seems impossible. I believe I have great things to say about it, but one thing I learned is that knowledge is never enough. Keep learning, keep experience.
... and I create games, specially boardgames. I am the founder of a big analog gaming community called Capital dos Jogos, that always welcome new authors and designers interested in game development.
