Overview
About Me
Currently listening to:
Donna Summers, 'Bad Girls'.
Anarcho syndicalist punk. I teach kids with intellectual disabilities as a day job and spend most of my free time building a radical tenant's union. I do most of my traveling on two wheels (yes that's my tandem, yes you can have a go on it) and the occasional bit of hitch-hiking. I'm currently restoring an elderly sailboat so hopefully I'll spend more time at sea in the coming years (and maybe host people aboard as it theoretically sleeps four).
For now though I'm in a houseshare in Dublin city. Space for guests is limited (we have a spare room but it doubles as a home office). You can still request for me to host but I can't make any promises.
Even if I can't host you I might be free to meet up and show you around. I've never been to the Guinness Storehouse or the Temple Bar but if you're looking for punk gigs or secret raves or queer reading groups or squat parties or the like I can probably point you in the right direction.
Instagram is ndarangatang if you'd rather reach me there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
How I participate in couchsurfing:
Most of the time I forget to log on, sometimes I host though (although it's been a while what with Covid and all) and every so often I actually need a couch to sleep on.
Couchsurfing experience:
Mostly good, at times chaotic, overall interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Mustered the requisite humility to refrain from filling this section in.
Teach, Learn, Share
There's a reasonable chance if you get me talking about Ireland's housing crisis I'll start trying to teach you what I know about organising, direct action, anti-eviction defence and the like.
Can also teach you how to ride a tandem bicycle (actually not that hard), the basics of woodworking, bicycle repair, the Irish language, sewing, or how to find a (relatively) cheap pint in Dublin city.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Nothing, I'm just here to steal your TV.
