ABOUT ME

I grew up in a little town called Otta, surrounded by beautiful mountains, deep forests and ice-cold rivers. After I graduated from high school, I worked one year as a civil cervant for the United Nations Assosiation of Norway. The same year I tried myself as an actor in a Norwegian horror movie. After that I worked in a stevedoring terminal in the harbor of Oslo and traveled with my girlfriend for some months in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Viet Nam. In August 2007 I began studying International Studies at the University. I really enjoy it! In my free time I spend time with my friends and family, go to the cinema or play football. I share an appartment with my sister, her husband and another friend of mine.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have always been eager to learn about other cultures. Everytime I get the chance I love to seek the truth trough communicating with people who think differently than myself. Before, I have been traveling in Europe, US, Brazil and in the South East Asia. On these trips I have truly understood that history books and newspaper-articles only can tell one side of a story. Therefore I think that the best way to learn is to get out of the every-day-sphere, talk to people and try to comprehend their stories and opinions. That is why I belive in projects like these. My couch is accessable for couchsurfers!
