Overview
About Me
New to CS. Born and bred in Tallinn, traveled many places and planning to do more. Was involved with music (played guitar since the age of 14, performed in front of large crowds, did production and audio engineering as well) now I'm involved in specialty coffee industry.
Big gourmande, will try pretty much everything and a big lover of wine, beer, whisky and mezcal. Even though I love nature and fight for enironmental causes, I am a big city person, love visiting an urban jungle which is filled with energy and culture... but time to time you'll find me in small fishing villages, taking some time off.

Music, Movies, and Books
I grew up on classic prog rock - Genesis and Yes, later Pink Floyd, King Crimson etc. Early teenage years were filled mostly with classic and psychedelic rock. After high school mostly listened to jazz, funk, soul, world and electronic music.
Still moved by Peter Gabriel and Miles Davis, love rhythms, love music which has a groove.
The best concert I've ever attended was a recital by Grigory Sokolov. I admire great concert pianist, specially Sviatoslav Richter.
You mostly find me listening to the works by Ravel, Prokofiev, Debussy, Bach and Messiaen.
My film taste started to form when I was 10 years old. I saw two of my all-time favourite films, Mon Oncle by Jacques Tati and Amarcord by Federico Fellini. Also saw a lot of samurai films, specially by Kurosawa and a bunch of Hong Kong kung-fu classics.
I've seen pretty much every frame shot by Fellini. I admire directors who take visual language as far as possible, most notably Alain Resnais, Michelangelo Antonioni and Ingmar Bergman.
In literature I love great stylists of language. My favourites are "Don Quixote" by Cervantes, "In Search of Lost Time" by Proust, "Ulysses" by Joyce and intriguing "The Red and The Black" by Stendhal, also "The Hero of Our Time" by Lermontov"
