ABOUT ME

Hi! All about me, huh? I am a student of Scandinavian Philology – Norwegian Studies in Szczecin, Poland.

Nevertheless, I suppose I'm an easy going guy, who has an interest in pretty much everything. I lived most of my life in Albania, although I've been travelling to a few places here and there lately.

The thing about meeting new people is that while getting to know interesting and different people from around the world, you also get to know yourself better, which is kind of the main objective of my trip - I'm slowly starting to suspect it'll never really end.

I love coffee and a good conversation. I also love random interests. I particularly enjoy philosophing about life and writing, when I'm in the mood of course.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was going to visit Amsterdam and a friend of mine adverted to me CS, so I started my research and I found a couch, a lady Ms., very intelligent, opened, easy going, very passionated about the culture. We still keep in touch with traditional way, letters :).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At first I didn't have anything to write on this box because I didnt have the chance to couchsurf until my tip to Amsterdam.

So far, CS has been one of the coolest things I have experienced in my trip. The unique chance to meet new people and make TONS of friends of people who are already interested in the same things as I do. I have surfed a couple of couches in very unexpected ways and realize how important is hosting is for many people and then how delicate it can be to really learn how to be a good surfer. It's not only about surfing but there are many other things involved. Now I love surfing and I really value my hosts and their good will to help and to also make friends and meet cool people.

Interests

I guess I'm interested in almost everything (sorry, but it really is true), specially things that I didn't know beforehand (which is a lot I suppose).

I love the outdoor activities, such as: ski, mountain bike, trail run, and hike. I also very much love to travel, because it allows me to see new places, meet interesting people, and experience different ways of life. I enjoy all things water, going to the beach.

Get a gap year at my university and left everything behind to travel indefinitely around the world!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, if somebody decides to come to my country, certainly I would like to let him/her know some details about our culture, cuisine or language (which seems not so easy..;)) And especially Durres, my city. Maybe it's nothing spectacular but I love it and I think it's one of the most interesting and unusual cities in Albania with a convoluted history.

Since I live in Szczecin and I love this city I am very open to guid you here.
