About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn what you can from people, places and publications.
ABOUT ME
I categorize myself as a social person which also is rather geeky. I strive to be a person that meet people and socialize while staying up to date on the subjects that interest me the most (for example robotics, computer science and new and interesting beers). I have a deep connection to the Student Society in Trondheim where I worked as a volunteer for several years.
PHILOSOPHY
I live to learn. As a researcher it's my job, but I love to learn new things in my personal life as well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I own an apartment in Trondheim with my girlfriend, close to the city center. We have a small room with a bed and a couch in the living room for surfing. =) We also have an inflatable bed that could be placed in the living room as well. I would love to show CouchSurfers Trondheim and the Norwegian cuisine.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted a few CouchSurfers and I would love to CouchSurf the next time I'm travelling.
Interests
I really enjoy meeting new people while keeping contact with my old friends. I love to travel (although there is never enough time to do that), I really enjoy robotics which is my main field of expertise, and I tasting new and special beer/tea/coffee with my friends. I also enjoy dancing swing (I'm a beginner in Scandinavian swing and a novice in Lindy Hop). I'm also interested in beer brewing, computer games, programming and making food.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Canopy Tours in the rainforest around Monteverde in Costa Rica was one of the most amazing things I have ever done. The feeling of riding a zip-line through the rainforest and then suddenly flying high over the trees was an amazing experience I would recommend to everyone.
Also I took a Space Technology course at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology where we went to Andøya and created scientific payload for a surface-to-air missile which we launched. Rather geeky, but thrilling experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
Food! I'm no expert here, but I believe that I have something I could teach others, and a lot I would like to learn.
Beer (+brewing), programming, Scandinavian swing.
