ABOUT ME

I grew up on an organic farm in Wisconsin, USA. I attended the University of Minnesota for International Relations, with a focus on the environment and sustainable development! I love the city life, the outdoor life, the rural life, I love it all. I enjoy going out to concerts, clubs and restaurants.

I was a team leader for Americorps NCCC Atlantic Region during 2012, traveling the eastern region and doing service for our communities and nation.

I am now a teacher.

PHILOSOPHY

Make new friends everyday, and keep the old ones too! I like to help people, it is what I strive to do everyday. I want to eventually help as many people as is humanly possible live a happy life...in any way that I can.

I have surfed a few couches, and now am excited to offer a place of my own for others to enjoy and learn and grow!

Interests

Meeting new people. I also enjoy reading, music, going to parties, concerts and other artistic venues. I also enjoy playing hockey, cycling, running, snowboarding, hiking, rafting...generally being outdoors.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: All kinds, a few of my favorites include Lissie, Dawes, Atmosphere, Bob Dylan, Modest Mouse, Lykki Li, Outkast.
Movies: Love them! I am a bit of cinema geek, but not yet on foreign films, hopefully soon!
Some of my favorites include: Into the Wild, A Beautiful Mind, City of God, Amelie, Memento, Y Tu Mama Tambien...
Books: I love to read.
