About Me
Living in a jungle like appartement at the green side of the city. (I might hit the 100 plants threshold soon)
I moved to the randstad for my studies and I grew to love the metropole Rotterdam-the hague and the people in it. I believe they are one of the most direct and up front people on earth. Currently I am working as a specialist design engineer in usability, medical and precision-mechanics products with electronics.
Besides building stuff and plants my main hobbies are Lindy hop (the swing dance from the 20's/30's) and long distance skating.
My partner is an engineer too, but in greenhouse and energy. A scout for life, reads a lot (world news, and history) and joins me on a bike or inline skates on our trips.
Me and my partner are accepting guests in our apartment. We can place a good matress for people in a guest room we have some plants to keep you company while you sleep haha. We are vegetarians/pescetarians so we cook veggies, fish, etc but no meat. But I make an exception when staying at hosts and my grandma, and can eat meat in those occasions.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lots of people can mention listening and discovering music as a hobby, but a can honestly say I am taking that to a next level. As long as it's not trap or hardcore, we'll be able to talk about music and exchange some music-pearls that we have gathered.
Jazz-Funk-Blues-Rock-classics-classical-minimal-pop-country-swing-metal-ska-punk-french-arabic-african-world-electronic-house-odd beats-d&B-Hiphop-soul + very specific combinations between all of these.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Baking a bread while sailing on a schooner pretty fast(for a schooner) somewhere north of NZ, causing the bread to be weirdly shaped and angled [but perfect taste and structure]. I dont know why but this bread just symbolises my sailing trip and it's the first thing that popped up my mind :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Technology, sketching, Lindy hop, discover music.
I'd love to get better at sign language and I also love learning about society's and cutural differences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm an engineer with a sociological and engineer's interest in green/blue technology and it's potential and impact on the environment and society. So if you want independent advice on wether you should take solar panels and such... Or some swing dance, speed sketching or something else you can think of after reading my profile.
