About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I wanna die like Jesse James.

ABOUT ME

I'm an Istanbul lover. I've been hosting incoming exchange participants from different countries for different type of projects and activities for a very long time. I've got numerous hosting and surfing experiences on CouchSurfing that I believe there are no proper words to tell about how they made me more open-minded. This website has truly changed the way I perceived life as well as the way I travel.

PHILOSOPHY

Never curb your imagination and don't let it be underestimated, just like Einstein says "Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited, imagination encircles the world." Why are we afraid of living in our imaginary and cozy world then?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I feel I have a curiosity towards people I know they are strangers. The way they perceive this life, the thoughts or philosophies they believe in attract me a lot. I'd like to learn such things so I've signed up CouchSurfing in order to share those ideas beside sharing only a couch. I'm pretty much sure you who are about to send me a couch request do not only aim to find a spot to sleep but also to broaden your horizons. Feel free to send a message anytime. I will be more than happy to know you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted lots of people coming over from different cultures for the projects that I've launched with my mates for Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture year and European Union Youth Program. My first CS experience was in Brussels, Belgium in 2009. I've joined the CS Brussels group to leave a message about our trip. Later on, more or less in 15 minutes, one of the people who saw my announcement sent me a message and told that he would be able to host us. Fortunately, we didn't only have a seamless holiday, but we were also hosted at a luxurious flat we wouldn't possibly afford hahaha Our host was very nice and helpful, he even showed us around the city by car. Since that day, I've been trying to be more worthy for CS! I can say everyone in the world should once experience how Turkish hospitality is to get the best out of this naive website.
