ABOUT ME

languages are my life passion, that's what i've been pretty much studying all my life (university of edinburgh). i love to travel and get to know other places and cultures. i would like to be more than just a tourist, i love to sink in to new countries and touch and smell everything, get the first hand experience and see everything from inside. i'm 27, i like sports and good books.

PHILOSOPHY

strong european union believer and supporter, with hard work and motivation you can achieve everything, and there is no language you cannot learn

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

if you've got similar interests i'd love to take you in! you can sleep on the couch in the living room, i've got a private apartment 20min by bus from changsha railway station, you could stay with me as long as you wish or just drop in for a coffee! :)
oh, and naturally, if you're still in china, i'd love to visit you too!

and we also hold couchsurfing meetings usually every week in the hawa cafe or a teahouse in changsha, you could drop in and we can have lots of fun together over a mug of tea or a bottle of beer :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

so far i have been staying with 10+ different hosts who became my very good friends! and i was hosting many, maybe 20+ different people, and me made great friends too! as much as the time allows me, i try to meet up every once in a while and go hiking together! wonderful experience!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

there are many of those! some of them:

i (almost) ran a marathon (that's one of my greatest dreams, so far i have finished a 35km race), lived for 9 months in maryland, US, 10 months in vienna, austria, and 3 months in Moscow, i'm fluent in 4 languages and comfortable speaker of 3 more, i climbed up 2500 metres in 12 hours with another couchsurfer (emei shan from 500m till 3000), and with another couchsurfer i climbed up to the riwuqie pass at 4800 metres (from 2700m) in one day! ...but had to heal the wounds from sunburn and flu and altitude sickeness for another two or three days, hahaha, we had to stop and stay a few nights at 4700m with tibetan yak breeders in their yurta sleeping next to nice, big and rusty tibetan stove that kept us warm :-)
