About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I think this profile already says a lot about me, I'm very openminded, ultimately tolerant and always up for something new. I'm 27 and I work as an international biodiversity negotiator for the Belgian Ministry of Environment. I am from Belgium, and after some time abroad, I'm living there again. I'm a vegetarian, but you'll see, when I cook, you won't miss the meat lol.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe diem et noctem

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope I can host, I will probably travel a little. I would love to meet up with other couchsurfers as well, and I'll sure spread the word!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted some people and I surfed some couches. All were good experiences!

Interests

First of all travelling (I work only for that lol), I love meeting new people, getting to know other cultures and I love my dogs... and my friends and family too of course :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movie is Back to the Future :), yes I'm weird lol, I love Queen (Don't stop me now), my favourite book is The Catcher in the Rye.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My Erasmus exchange to Germany. I have friends from all over the world now. We were one big family in Germany. I don't think I ever felt this good. It was the time of my life.
I went to volunteer in Guatemala in 2007. It was an awesome experience. I did a bit of everything: culture, nature, nature, meeting new people, travelling, volunteering, learning Spanish,...
And my final year abroad, studying human rights in Venice (Italy) and in Coimbra (Portugal) and meeting the most wonderful of all people... ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

Other than my basic positive attitude towards life and people, there's not much you can learn from me I'm afraid...
