i like sleeping (get angry if i dont get enough sleep), travelling (everywhere, all the time), africa, not working, reading, writing, tv (tv series like true blood, lost, persons unknown, flight of the conchords, big love, 30 rock etc), feeding birds, david hasselhoff (dont hassle with the hoff!), making hommus (well, i dont do it very often nowadays), chocolate (if you want me to like you - give me chocolate), colonalism and post-colonialism, religion (though im not religious myself), the unexpected, people and life but not all the time.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

movies: darjeeling limited, catch a fire, tsotsi, mary and max, the escape from new york, amelie from montmartre, ghost world, the hours, life of brian.

music: mostly old soul (like stevie wonder, aretha franklin, the temptations, marvin gaye, kim weston) and hip hop (kanye west, common, looptroop, talib kweli, brother ali, jean grey) but also other kind of music like john legend, robyn, flight of the conchords, pj harvet, ani difranco, markus krunegård, lady gaga.

books: swedish literature is my passion and where i find most of my inspiration from. douglas coupland, chimamanda ngozi adichie, kiran desai is writers i like as well. and im sorry, but i cant stand paolo coelho. uhh.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

watching thunderstorms in bulungula, south africa. finding a turtle in my tent in central maputo. going by train from mozambique to south africa. walking liberty avenue in eritrea. hiding from the rain by a mosque in istanbul. hitchhiking through most of botswana. hanging around with strange communists in dublin. walking by the danube in budapest.
