I am:

26 years old,
a rookie fire fighter,
a beginner surfer,
a yoga novice,
a terrible buddhist,
and a passable cook.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life for the ultimate goal of happiness. Not just as a mood but as an overarching state of mind that doesn't come and go with rising and falling blood sugar levels ..if that makes sense.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've stayed with hosts in Tokyo and Buenos Aires and joined in their Sunday game of Ultimate Frisbee.

One day I hope to be able to host to get exposure to different languages and cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Japan, 2008: Un-planned couchsurf in Tokyo.

I'd come from Nagano and hadn't arranged accomodation. I was hunting a netcafe to spend the night when, as a peered at a street side map in the rain three french guys told me I looked like I could use a drink. Fast forward several hours and I was at an open mic night at a hiphop joint and still had all my gear with me. Seeing my bags and hearing of my predicament, a local offered me his architecture office to crash in. Was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan.

I was on the cover of a maths book for kids when I was 5 or 6. Since then.. not so much.

I guess I could help someone with some maths and physics ..more physical concepts these days rather than the mathematical proofs. So if relativity confuses you I might be able to shed some light on it. Maybe.

I'm studying Spanish and the drums so any help on either areas would be cool.
