About Me

Aware that my profile is pretty new! I couchsurfed here and there but have not had the chance to avidly CS. Ps I am fully vaccinated.

I was born in Guam and lived there for 10 years. After, I moved to California and have been living there since. I’ve moved around a lot which might have contributed to my thirst for travel.

I've been exposed to different cultures and people from a young age. I went to my first abroad trip when I was 16 to Morocco Africa through a church volunteer organization. It was an eye opening experience and I loved being in new environments. I also lived and taught English in Spain for a year where I got the chance to improve my Spanish skills and travel different parts of europe.

I love to experience new culture, meet new people, learn different things. I love to listen and discover all types of different music. I enjoy spending time with people and getting to know them through meaningful convos. I’m the type of person to say “just one drink” and next thing you know I end up at a black light party with my face painted and more than just one drink in. I love my family and cherish old and new friends I meet.

Ive backpacked throughout central America for 8 weeks, practicing my Spanish and meeting new friends and travelers throughout. After this trip I started grad school in San Diego.

After graduating I decided to visit the roots of my parents and myself, South Korea. While I was there I met a bunch of relatives and learned as much as I can about my family and the culture. I got to travel around Thailand Taiwan and Vietnam as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first used couchsurf when i studied in Madrid in 2013. It was an awesome experience and thought it was a great way to meet all different types of people.

Now im back on couchsurfing as things are opening up.
