About Me

CURRENT MISSION

On my way to explore the Silk Road with my motorcycle. A year ago, I had this crazy idea of buying a motorcycle to go on a long tour. Little did I know back then that it would become a reality. So here I am on my journey to Uzgen, a little town in the south of Kyrgyzstan, through

Austria
Italy
Slovenia
Croatia
Boznia and Herzegovina
Montenegro
Albania
Greece
Turkey
Georgia
Azerbaijan
Turkmenista
Uzbekistan.

Why do I do it? Because I have a worm in my a** that does not allow me to sit still. My journey started on April 5, 2018 and plan to arrive in Uzgen in mid-June, 2018. During this period I will be passing through the countries above, and will be happy to crush on your couch and infect you with my adventerous worm.

ABOUT ME

I'm a quite laid back person: I like to read novels and my newspaper - die Zeit, - and to sip coffee early in the day. Unlike those people who can drink cups and cups of coffee, a second cup of this wonder-liquid starts slowly ruining my day. My motto: one cup a day. Also, I love to walk around in untouched nature. When it comes to nature, I lose my mind and even a seemingly boring place with vegetation will look magical to me.

A major motivation for me to travel is to chase the sun and to fill my belly with delicious food and bakeries on the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all, it is free, which allows students like me to travel low-budget. Second of all, it is an ingenious way to meet people, whom one would not meet otherwise. And finally, what goes around, comes around - will definitely pay it back to future csurfers.

Interests

Lately, I am into motorcycles and knitting. My motorcycle gives me the freedome to move, and knitting helps me concentrate on my seminar - I swear it does, try it!

I am into Reggae and Electro although sometimes I listen to sad music that my girlfriend loves to listen - mostly, it is Persian and Turkish music.

Haruki Murakami is doing a pretty good job.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After a lot of drinks and a very short night sleep I hiked up the Singgalang Vulcanoe in Sumatra, Indonesia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm learning how to play guitar and Russian and Kyrgyz. Can definitely teach you some survival phrases, which you will need on your next journey because my worm is on its way to infect you.
