About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travel, discover and experience the world!

ABOUT ME

Hello my dear CS family! It's a pleasure for me to welcome you to my site, where you can find my 3 years CS experience! I've just done my 100 days Couchsurfing challenge May-Aug 2012 (UK, UAE, Oman) So I can tell you all amazing stories when we meet :)

Once my cousin introduced me as: "This is Kamila, a world lover, whose biggest problem is that she has not been to every country in the world, yet."
_____________________________________________________
I am International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme graduate. I have thousands of ideas of my new destinations per second. Travelling and exploring the world is my joy of life.

I just graduated in Media Communication in London at International Business School. I've got artistic soul, I love oil paints and impressionism. Also I am really addicted to Photoshop!
I used to be an English teacher in Poland. I'm the lover of travelling, rollerskating, skiing and windsurfing!

Recently I became the ambassador of Polish Tourism in Great Britain! <3 Poland is a wonderful coutntry waiting for you to discover its beauty!
Check it out! http://www.poland.travel

And Yes! I am promoting my blog for Creative & Cultural Industries classes about Visual Arts in the UK. If couchsurfing is about sharing I think it is actually a good place to do so! http://kamilavisualarts.wordpress.com/

PHILOSOPHY

I have own, which always leads to the success! :)

I love and I try to live according to Huna, Hawaiian Philosophy. There are the 7 principles of HUNA:

1.The world is as you think it is.
2.There are no limits.
3.Energy goes where attention goes.
4.Now is the moment of power.
5.To love is to be happy. ALOHA!
6.All the power comes from within.
7.Effectiveness is the measure of truth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I read profiles, I plan, I travel,
I experience, and I discover.
I make friends, I like food to try
and sometimes try new things for the first time in my life.
I also learn from others, sometimes I copy their good habits. I observe and I discuss, so as the time passes by, I want to be able to recall the most pleasuarable moments of my life.

It partially explains why I am so addicted to photography;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

> London! [United Kingdom]
I was looking for a place to stay for a few nights and my wonderful hosts let me stay longer! Thanks to them I could experience new things and met other wonderful couchsurfers while staying at their place! It is such a great time meeting brilliant people from all over the world at their place! John and Ivan are fabulous fotografers giving me some photography lessons and opportunities to fulfill my dreams - I had professional photoshots with them. I am so glad that I met such wonderful and helpful people - John and Ivan! Thanks you sooo much for everything! I will never forget your part in my photography and modelling education when I will be a famous model and photographer. I highly reccomend staying with John Carter, Ivan Trowe and their flatmates. Love yaaa guys!

> Corfu! [Greece]
Antonhs was a perfect host who picked me up from the airport by bike! He was very very helpful! When I left his place he met me again to give me my luggage. Staying with him in Corfu was an amazing experience:) I have wonderful memories from my stay in Greece. I highly reccomend Anthons, he is a great host!

>Oslo! [Norway]
I posted a last minute request in Oslo group and Geir offered to host me for 2 days. He showed great hospitality, gave me a map with interesting places to see and went with me to the opening of the art and photography exhibition. I had a very nice time there!

> Barcelona! [Spain]
My overall experience is not positive, it is EXTREMELY POSITIVE ;) While I met him I felt like he was my best friend for ages! My stay in Barcelona was unforgettable! From the first day I met Elias I felt like I met my soulmate. Straight from the airport in the middle of the night I went to the biggest party in BCN with him, with all my luggage! It was crazy, after 7 hours of waiting for my delayed flight! sleeping only one hour that day went for my trip to Canary Islands and come back to surf his place. We went to the restaurant in the city centre and to the most awesome party I've ever been - on private yacht! I've never had such fun in my life. Elias, thanks for this fabulous time spent in wonderful Barcelona!

>Las Palmas de Gran Canaria!
An amazingly astonishing and extremely beautiful island where all the positive thoughts become true!
I was wandering along the oceanside with the hibiscus in my hair, exploring the gold sand at the beaches and Dunes the Maspalomas, simply admiring the nature and enjoying every precious minute of the sunshine in this really warm, subtropical zone.
It all was possible thanks to Spanish surfers - Rafa, Juan and also his brother Carlos ;)Traditional empanada was delicious! and the map of the world in their apartment inspired me to stick mine to the wall in my room =)

Teach, Learn, Share

" Don't tell me how educated you are, tell me how much you have travelled." Mohammed.

I believe that thoughts become things and practice makes perfect. There were so many people in the world, who proved that it works.

As Napoleon Hill says; "Think and grow rich"
"Whatever the mind of man can conceive, it can achieve" W. Clement Stone - This is sooo true!
"Your imagination is your preview of life's coming attractions." Einstein
"You create your own universe as you go along" Winston Churchill
"All that we are is a result of what we have thought" - Buddha
My favorite quotations from "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne:
"Whatever is going on in your mind is what you are attracting"
