Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To inhabit, expand, and evolve my passions.
ABOUT ME
I enjoy information in many flavors. There is not much more I enjoy then having a discussion with an intelligent person who is really passionate about something.
I like to commit random acts of kindness.
I love technology. I love to help people.
The times I am most satisfied with my life is when I am totally engulfed in a project.
PHILOSOPHY
The pursuit of wealth cannot remain as the primary goal of people if the human race is to survive.
I am here to change the world, not sure in what way or how exactly I'll accomplish that just yet... Finding my place in the great transition that is happening in the world right now is a big focus for me.
Treat others as THEY would like to be treated.
Be the change you want to see in the world.
I am firmly committed to experiencing joy and helping those around me do the same regardless of how I am perceived.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Organize events: SOAK CS camp 2010-2014, camping trips, NYE parties, urban capture the flag, Portland's annual CS picnic, LED night frisbee, etc.
Surfed with quite a few folks traveling in New Zealand and Hawaii.
I grew up in Portland so I'm always up for giving advice to people coming to the area about anything and everything.
Try to host as much as possible.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm awe struck by the caliber of people I have met through CS. Met a few hundred CSers when I was in New Zealand 08-09. Met another couple thousand back here in Portland since then. Haven't surfed in the US much, just a couple peeps in Hawaii. Hosted a lot when I was able, can't in my current situation... but that hopefully will change soon.
