ABOUT ME

My name's Ennio and I'm 28 years old. I live in Palermo as to be a student during winter time, whereas in summer, if i'm not wandering around the world, I go back to live in a lovely small village by the sea called Campofelice in province of Palermo. I'm particularly talented in art and I love painting. I'm outgoing and generous, I like travelling and and enjoy nature in open and incontaminated places... therefore I know many beautiful places in the natural parks of Sicily, and lots of beaches in the north coast of this wonderful island.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a very open-minded person and I truly believe that everyone should feel free to be themselves. As Martin Luther King said: "My freedom ends where your freedom starts."

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love Italian and French singer-songwriters, but THE BEATLES are my passion! Besides I also like Crearwater Creedence Revival, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, The Doors, and some others... Aphex Twing, The Cinematic Orchestra, Manu Chao, Morcheeba, Beirut... and many more too!! :D
As for movies I really appreciate Woody Allen and his sharp irony. I also like Tarantino's movies and I'm interested in old cinema as well: Bergman, Keaton, Monicelli, Fellini, JJ Annaud ...
My favorite writer is Chuck Palaniuck with his cinic way to represent nowdays society. I also like the poet Allen Ginsberg.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

During my last trip to Norway I randomly met a girl on a train. Although we didn't speak the same language (I spoke French and she replied in Spanish) we spent the whole night talking and eventually decided to keep in touch. But instead of the facebook account or the email address, we decided to exchange our home addresses and become pen pals... I think that nowdays in the digital era, it's quite amazing to find someone who still is fascinated of writing a very letter and open an old envelop and enjoy waiting a little more to get a reply...

I thoroughly know and love the contest I live in, its history and both the good and the bad aspects, and I really enjoy to share it with anyone who is willing to know about. As for the rest I humbly think I have much more to learn than to teach, and I'm really looking forward to!
