I'm a traveler, foodie who's interested in contemporary art, cinema and photography. Besides that I'm addicted to climbing and experiencing the world. Big part of my interest towards traveling is about getting to know other cultures and locals, and foood!

PHILOSOPHY

"This is your life. Do what you love, and do it often." Besides that my philosophy is about happiness, how to enjoy life, forgetting time, and yourself and living in the moment. While enjoying the life, I also think that by appreciating what you have and by respecting other people, you will gain more happiness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As an active traveler it's sometimes difficult to host, but I do try to offer at least my company for sightseeing if nothing else. Back in my home country I enjoyed the weekly meetings, which were absolutely the best way to meet all the international people living in or visiting Helsinki. When I travel, I try to use CS as much as possible since I do believe that it's the best way to get to know to the local lifestyles and culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My definitely best experience of CS have been in Barcelona where I have participated in several meetings organized by CS groups. In every meeting I met so many nice people from all over the world. The second absolutely good CS experiences are from India. Me and my friend got invited to the most amazing places and parties!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Movies, music and books are definitely subjects I could go on and on. So it's better to keep it short and continue the discussion face to face :).

In general I am interested in new phenomenons when it comes to art, into which I count not only cinema, music and books, but also visual arts. But nevertheless I do love some old classics like Woody Allen, Chaplin, Kubrick, Kieslowski, Lynch etc. When it comes to music I like pretty much everything except heavy metal. I'd say, I lean towards jazz influenced music. And then books...I hope I had more time to read. But the same story goes here aswell, contemporary and modern literature are something I am interested in, but right now I am for example reading Simone de Beauvoir.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I've seen people helping each others and those in need, and experienced humanity in its purest form. I've seen the snow storms in Canada, lived through the monsoon season in Malaysia, been in Barcelona when FC Barcelona won la liga, walked the Broadway from one end to the other and cried, done a road trip through Spain, and most of all heard amazing stories when traveling around the world.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I can teach you some basic phrases in Finnish. I would be glad to share a nice bottle of wine and a taste/cook some great food with you....or be more healthy and go for a run or to climb! If non of these are not into your interests, we can just share an amazing conversation!
