About Me
Hello there, thanks for taking the time to check out my profile.
My name is Noah and I originally joined this site many years ago during my time at the University of California. I had the opportunity to host a few incredible folks and I was also a guest during my first trip abroad to Europe.
A lot has changed for me since then, here's an update:
🔵 Firstly, I changed my name! You'll see references to my old name in my profile references. While I honor that time in my life, I have grown and morphed since then. So, Noah it is now!
🔵 I graduated from USC with degrees in Psychology and Gender & Sexuality Studies
🔵 I added two four new cities to my list of travels: Mexico City, Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka
🔵 I moved into a super cool spacious apartment with my partner of four years
🔵 I joined the tech world! I work each day as a technical recruiter at a startup. This means that I talk to engineers A LOT. I find it to be challenging, inspiring, and fast-paced.
🔵 I started my own contemporary fashion menswear brand. I have been working on it for two years now and I hope to launch my first collection very soon (Spring of 2025).
I think those are all of my life updates! Even still, I very much believe in the Couchsurfing community. I've been afforded the privilege of traveling on my own and staying some cool places, but there's nothing better than getting to know someone in their home. I hope you'll consider meeting me. I think we could have great time.
(I identify as a queer person. If that's not your jam, totally fine! Just a heads up)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We only get to do this life thing once so I should meet as many cool people as I can while I am it.

Music, Movies, and Books
There isn't enough space here for that. I love jazz, hip hop, indie/folk, and film scores. I am a big poetry reader as well as contemporary fiction. If it's quality film or show, I've probably seen/watched it (except Game of Thrones).
I also love visiting museums and fine dining!

Traveled around the nation competing in speech and debate competitions
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a pretty good cook. I can teach you what you know. Also, navigating Los Angeles is a pain. I can give lots of advice about public transit, where to eat, and what to do from a (semi) locals perspective.
I also love learning about new cultures. It my goal to see cities as the locals see it, bringing in all the energy of a place. I have interests in Architecture and Design so I appreciate looking at a good building. ;)
Now that I own my clothing brand, I love to discuss the history of streetwear and fashion. There are many amazing contemporary brands in the US and beyond that I'd love to discuss with you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my knowledge of the US (the South as well as Southern California), my knowledge of poetry, art, and design. I want to learn why you love your city! Interested in conversations about religion, philosophy, culture, and even politics.
I have mentioned this before, but I would love to cook a traditional southern meal for my hosts!!!
