About Me

Hello, my name is Enora (I know it's difficult to pronounce for English speakers). I'm studying mathematics in Brittany (France) and I'm doing my final year as an Erasmus student at UCC in Cork. My plans for the future is to become a primary school teacher in Breton language. I like the contact with children and that's why I'm an organizer in summer camps since 2012 and I absolutely love it !

My parents gave me the taste of traveling as we went in very different places in Europe Asia and Africa. I started later to travel alone or with friends. I came in Ireland two years ago to do wwoofing (volonteering in organic farms) . This experience convinced me in my idea to spend a longer time in Ireland !

This year in Ireland is for me a great opportunity to meet new people, to discover a lot of other cultures, sharing new ideas, to learn new things about cooking, languages, cultures. I'm found of Ireland's landscapes and weather (that's possible, I love rain, sun and rainbows). I wish to visit as many places as possible but my main priority is the human experience so if I feel good in a place, I could stay for a while.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hitchhiking and Couchsurfing are for me the best way to know people and share our culture and point of view ! I used to live in very different places, with different people and I still love it ! I'm accustomed to live in shared apartments or houses and completely aware of what it involves. I've done formal couchsurfing only once (with the profile of the friend traveling with me) but I'm used to do it in more informal ways (friends of friends, friends' families...)

Interests

Celtic culture, languages, education, simple ways of living.
I'm really interested in the vegetarian food also.
